Courtney passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 35, surrounded by her family, after a short illness, at McLaren Bay Region, Bay City, Michigan. She was born on April 11, 1989 to the late Randall P. and Sue (Jankowiak) White in Bay City, Michigan.
Courtney’s guardian was Julie Rusho who took care of all her needs financially and medically for many years. Connie Morse and Mark Christian also assisted with appointments for Courtney.
Courtney and her fiancé Mark Christian moved to Essexville after the death of her mother Sue. They enjoyed the short time they had together. They were planning on a trip to Missouri where Mark was from to meet his family.
Courtney loved watching her soap operas, going to the movies with her friends and loved football. She graduated from the Bay Arenac Living and Learning Center on May 18, 2011.
She is survived by her fiancé Mark Christian, 4 aunts and 2 uncles; Cathy and Delane Hyde of Bedford, Wy., Julie Rusho and Connie Morse of Bay City, Nancy and Ted Young of Clare, Michigan. Cousins; Tony (Crystal) Jankowiak, Carrie (John) Hartley, Mary Jankowiak and her special friend Nick, Dylan Jankowiak. Nieces; Samantha Hartley, Tadess Mock, Paige and Kenzie Jankowiak. Nephews; John Hartley, Robert and Jeffery Mock, Owen Jankowiak and many cousins from her dad’s family and Cathy Lanagan.
She was predeceased by her brother Shawn P White on July 23, 2006; Grandparents; Walter and Thresa Jankowiak, Robert and Delores White. Uncles; William Rusho, Albert Morse, and Richard Jankowiak, Gary and Robert White. Aunt; Joyce Fetter. Cousins; Hartley Twins.
Thank you to the many friends Courtney had for their love and support they showed her through the years. A special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at McLaren Bay Region who did all they could for Courtney.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial will take place in the spring.
