Mrs. Merrill passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, at the age of 88. She was born in Hope Township, Michigan on May 19, 1936, to the late William and Dessalee Thomas.

She married Clifford B. Merrill on July 23, 1960, who predeceased her.  She was predeceased by her two brothers, Richard and Marion Thomas, and her sisters, Roberta David, Inez Thomas and Bertha Kruger.

She is survived by her two sisters, Ella Brown of Gladwin and Tootie Nelson of Midland, and many nieces and nephews.

At Della’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
