Obituary of Richard Tim Eyre

Richard “Rich” Eyre, age 66, of Essexville, Michigan, beloved father, left us suddenly on June 15, 2025. Rich was born December 13, 1958 in Bay City to the late Kenneth and Caroline (Aeder) Eyre. 

Rich graduated from John Glenn high school in 1978. After graduation he was then hired into General Motors (Delphi) where he worked and retired after 26 years. 

He loved fishing, hunting, and opening day was always a must for him. He was never idle, always on the go taking trips all over the State of Michigan. 

His witty sense of humor, and ability to find light in any situation will be missed greatly. There wasn’t a single person he wouldn’t carry on a conversation with. His memory will be cherished by many.  

Rich is survived by his three sons, Johnathon, Scott, and Evan Eyre. Preceded in death are his daughter Jennifer Eyre, and his brother Kenneth Eyre.
