With deep sorrow, we share that our beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend Shayla, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 11, 2025.  She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 23, 2000, to David Sr. and Jennifer Goretcki.

Shayla loved her dog, Covid, and together they went on long walks and explored new areas and trails. She liked having game nights and completing puzzles with family and friends. Shayla especially loved spending time with her older sister, Allyssa. She enjoyed listening to music and working out. Within the last few years, Shayla found a new joy in traveling.
