Obituary of Kathryn Jean Hahn

Kathryn “Jean” Hahn, age 88, of Bay City Michigan, formerly of Gaylord Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland Michigan, after a brief illness.  Jean was born January 25, 1938 to the late Clifford and Catherine Beebe.

Jean married Emory Hahn on March 23, 1957 in Saginaw Michigan, and they shared 54 years of marriage. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, and was very proud that she completed her GED at Bay City Central.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Roxanne) Hahn; grandchildren, Crystal (Johnny) Meister, Joseph, Kristina, Joshua, and Kaisie Hahn; great-grandchildren, Carter, Lincoln Meister, Gabriel Hahn; sister-in-law, Carol Beebe; many nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Allen and Barbara Childs. She was predeceased by her husband, Emory; son, Michael; brother, Ernie; and sister, Nancy Anne.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm, Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, Michigan.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11 am until service time.  Pastor Tim Chapman will officiate.
