Obituary of JeAnne Helen Hebner

JeAnne Helen Hebner, age 91, walked into glory Wednesday April 22, 2026 at Sheffield Place, Bay City Michigan. She was born December 3,1934 to Marion and Lowell Aspin in Bay City MI. She graduated from Handy High School class of 1954. 

On May 14,1955, she married Richard L. Hebner, and they were married 69 years.  They traveled extensively while he served in the United States Air Force.  Upon his retirement, they moved back to their hometown. She was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon, a long-time member of the choir, and volunteered where needed.   She also volunteered many years for the Salvation Army.  She worked in the banking industry, retiring from United Bay Credit Union. She was an avid bowler, earning many awards.  

She is survived by her 3 sons, Richard L. II (Joy), Michael L. (Jeanne), and Alan L. (Renita);
9 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Brendel, and Kay Coons; and a brother-in-law, William Coons.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband; great-granddaughter, Addelyn Joy Hebner (2025); 3 sisters, Mary Lou (1932), Marisue Glass Bittner (2022), and her twin sister, JoAnne Deuscher (2021); brothers-in-law, Ronald Deuscher, Dan Flickinger, William Glass, John Bittner, and Raymond Brendel; and sister-in-law, Sally Flickinger. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday May 2, 2026 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 103 E Midland St., Bay City, MI. The family will greet visitors at the church from 10:00am until the time of service.  Pastors Jamie Milton and Linda Williams will officiate.  Interment will be at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly MI.
