Kimberly Rowell

Obituary of Kimberly Kay Rowell

Kimberly K. Rowell (Davidson), age 66, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 surrounded by her children and grandchildren after a long and hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on December 4, 1959, Kimberly was raised in Bridgeport, Michigan, where she graduated from Bridgeport High School. While life took her through many seasons, her greatest and most important role was being a mom and grandmother, a role she carried with pride, love, and everything she had.

Kimberly was the kind of mother every child hopes to have: loving, protective, selfless, and steady. She dedicated much of her life to being a homemaker, and she made a house feel like home. She took pride in caring for her family, in the home she built, and in the life she created for the people she loved most.

Her daughters and grandchildren were her world. She loved deeply, worried endlessly, and gave of herself in ways that can never fully be measured. The love she gave will live on in the family she poured so much of herself into.

Kimberly also had a deep love for cooking and could often be found in the kitchen, where she created meals that brought everyone together. Cooking was one of the ways she showed her love, making sure no one left her table hungry and that everyone felt cared for. Some of the best memories made with Kimberly were in her kitchen, gathered around the meals she made with love.

She had a special love for animals and found joy in life’s simple moments, especially feeding the squirrels she loved so much. She had a gentle, caring heart and a nurturing spirit that touched not only her family, but everyone lucky enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her longtime love, Michael Schroeder; her brother, Larry Bishop; and her parents, Frank and Betty (Southam) Davidson.

She leaves behind her daughters, Jennifer Rowell and Courtney Corrion (Josh); her beloved grandchildren, Zoe, Jackson, Bryson, Eliyana, and Caliber; the Schroeder family; Marie, Scott and Nan, Mark, Rick and Linda, as well as many nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will miss her dearly.

Kimberly was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words. While our hearts are broken by her loss, we are grateful for the love she gave, the memories she leaves behind, and the peace of knowing her pain has ended. Her love, her strength, and the home she built within all of us will stay with us forever.  To sign the online guestbook, visit www.hyattewald.com  Arrangements made with the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home.
