Obituary of Michael John Bourcier

Michael John “Bobo” Bourcier Bay City, MI Michael was born December 30, 1961, and passed away May 26, 2021. He was born in Bay City, MI to the late Marvin C. Bourcier and Marilyn C. (Bosley) Bourcier. He graduated from Garber High School in 1980 and went straight into the Air Force at the age of 18. He served for 4 years and was honorably discharged. In basic training, he met his future wife, Sofia Cisneros. They married and had 2 children, Tammy C. Bourcier, born September 7, 1981, and Gregory M. Bourcier, born February 17, 1985. They were married until June of 1991. Most of his working career he was a machinist, making parts for both cars and space crafts. Measuring and cutting with precision! Michael enjoyed almost anything outdoors. He loved fishing, ice fishing, and golfing with his family and friends! Taking a trip to the casino! When we would do “Thirsty Thursdays” in “The Garage” (he was not a drinker either) he would dominate in cornhole, darts and this golf video game! He really enjoyed going to festivals, especially if there was live music! Michael loved to watch almost any sport! He was especially a fan of the Tigers, Lions and The Red Wings! Definitely a true fan! He is survived by his 2 children; his brother, Robert Bourcier; his brother-in-law, Michael Sr Winchell; his nephews, Steven (Shaina) Winchell, Michael Jr (Danyell) Winchell; and nieces Melissa (Patrick) Winchell, and Karen (Matt) Winchell. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Marvin Jr Bourcier and Gregory Bourcier; and sister Barbara Jo (Bourcier) Winchell. A celebration of life will be held from 5-8 PM, June 17, 2021, at the Hampton Township Hall, 801 Center Rd Essexville, MI 48732.
