Obituary of William Donald Doyle

Doyle, William D. Bay City, MI. Mr. Doyle passed away on May 27, 2021 at age of 69, with his wife and step-daughter by his side. He was born in Saginaw Michigan on December 30, 1951 to the late William and Lucille (Anspach) Doyle. He was a member of Midland RC Modelers and K.A.M.P.S. in Kalkaska. His passion was building and flying RC planes. He enjoyed walking along Bay City's Riverwalk with his wife and their dog Riley, as well as attending the outdoor concerts in the Summer. He worked many years as an IT tech, then moved on to the gas and oil industry, and finally retired after two years of driving Federal Armored Truck in 2018. He is survived by his wife, Anita; his children, Kathy (Andy) Ames, Peter (Lauren) and Megan; two step-children, Kelli (Tony) Gates and Kevin (Shelley) Henry; five grandchildren, Patrick, Jack, Lucy, Cody and Ryan; and three step-grandchildren, Peyton, Alex and Hadley. Also surviving him are six of his siblings, Tom (Ginny), Linda Allen, Mark (Shelly), Nora Murbach (Joe), Patrick (special friend Deb) and Paul (special friend Shannon); many nieces and nephews, and long-time friend, Mark Sibole. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Clifford Allen. Cremation has taken place. Bill led a simple life and chose not to have a service. Instead, please pour yourself a shot of good Irish Whiskey or a cold glass of Guinness and toast to Bill’s life.
