Obituary of Jackie Lynn Buchanan

Jackie Lynn (Tripp) Buchanan, age 64, was born in Alma, Michigan to the late Jerry & Nola (Weatherby) Tripp on August 22, 1956. On June 6, 2021 she passed onto heaven, at home with family by her side. Jackie spent her whole life living in Alma where she raised her three daughters. Jackie was well known at the local Walmart where she put in 31 years of hard work. She was often sought out by regular customers who were greeted with her big, beautiful smile and infectious, unique laugh. She always had time for a quick conversation. Jackie was the President of the Heather Lane Lawn Chair Society. On hot sunny days she could be found bathing in the sun, doing crossword puzzles, and drinking a beer. It was always 5 o'clock somewhere. Jackie especially enjoyed spending time camping with her family. She loved country music, crossword puzzles and Mexican food. Jackie is survived her daughters, Jessica Buchanan, Jennifer (Cale) Moeggenborg, and Jocelyn Buchanan all of Alma; her sisters, Cap (Mike) Dickman and Angie (Randy) Moffett; brother, Albert Tripp; nieces, Karri (Joe) Dickman and Lexi Tripp; nephews, Brad (Jennifer) Dickman, Trevor Miller, and Tyler Tripp; grandchildren, Landon, Liam, Nola, Vincent, Amelia and Emery.
