Helen passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born August 26, 1926 in Galveston Texas to the late Davis and Mildred Gray. She was a member of Redeeming Love Christian Embassy. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, cooking, and loved being with family. She was also active with the American Dietetics Association.
She is survived by her children, Mildred (Rolaant) McKenzie, and Monica (Bruce) Smiley; granddaughter, Brihana Folson; and a great-grandchild, Zakaria Abdul-Aziz. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Folson; and sons, Cashmere Folson and Samuel Jameson.
A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery Chapel, 805 Ridge Road, Bay City, Michigan. Pastor James Englehart will officiate. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice.
