Arnie was a great guy to be around and always had a smile for everyone
I’m glad I could call him a friend. He was one of the “greats” in my life. Good memories of Arnie teaching me the fine art of making homemade sauerkraut

Here's to the memories! Bruce and Arnie joking and laughing during their horse/cow adventures. Riding our donkeys to Arnie's farm, which was half a mile away, took four hours. Admiring his small tractor parade adventures. Always lots of kindness and smiles around Arnie. Wishing peace, comfort and lots of love to Pat, Dean and Kathy at this time.

Pat, Kathy, Dean & family,
My heart is breaking for you right now. I know Arnie has found his way to a much better place than we had for him here. Your hearts have an enormous hole that we can only hope to fill by sharing the love and special memories we have all shared with this wonderful man you know as your husband and father. I am not sure all of my memories will fit here, but there are many. We could not have ask for better friends and neighbors when your family moved in across the road. Us kids spent many hours and years together, thinking up shenanigans to make our parents gray!! Arnie was so lucky to have me to harass him with "smelly air letters" (because of the cows, like I had never smelled cow manure before) and the lovely homemade cherry(pit) pie! I am surprised he every forgave me for that one!! But he got a little revenge with his beautiful bouquet of weeds he brought to me when I had my back surgery!!. Oh such good times. Arnie will be remembered for years to come because of the loveable man he was. He was an asset to our community and also our school district. Always a friend, always a neighbor, always in my heart and memories. Rest high Arnie, and in peace. Keep an eye on Kathy and myself because you know we need it!
Love to the family.
Deb (Tilly) Oliver
