Obituary of Joseph Franklin Davis

Mr. Davis, age 69, died suddenly at his home on Monday January 30, 2023.  Joseph was born in Bay City on December 30, 1953 to the late Vernon and Eleanor (Kilvington) Davis.  He was a 1972 graduate of Bay City Central High School.  He was a retired insurance agent.  Joseph was a proud member of the Bay City Lion’s Club with perfect attendance, Saginaw Bay Yacht Club, and the Elks Club #88.  Joseph enjoyed cooking for large groups, he also enjoyed gardening, canning, and boating.  He was a very outgoing person.  

Mr. Davis is survived by his cousins, Susan (Fred) Vincent of Bay City and Jerilyn Davis of Durango Colorado; many other cousins and extended family; his special friends, Terry Kelly and Wendy Erickson both of Bay City; and his beloved little companion, Daisy.  A life celebration service will be announced later.  Arrangements with the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Bay City.  To sign online guestbook visit www.hyattewald.com.
