Marjorie, age 76, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023. She was born March 31, 1947 in West Pointe, New York to George & Clarinda Sutton. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Grace United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Dorkus Circle. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and Longaberger baskets. She was an active Tupperware manager for 30 years.
She is survived by her spouse, William Travers; her children, Christine Clark, Wesley Nitschky (Jaclyn); her sister, Tanny Schermerhorn (Jay); her grandchildren, Jonathan Clark (James), Nicholas Clark, Zachary Gledhill, Alexander Hunter, Julia Mclynn, and Natasha Nitschky. She was predeceased by her brother, Joey Sutton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, July 24, 2023, at Grace United Methodist Church, 4267 Two Mile Road, Bay City, MI 48706. The family will receive friends at church prior to the service from 10 AM -11 AM. A luncheon will follow the service.
