Our beloved father, Norman Roy Johnson, age 92, of Bay City, Michigan, passed away on June 24, 2023, at his home.  Norman was born on February 3, 1931, to Alfred and Lottie (Dailey) Johnson in Bay City, Michigan.

In 1948, Norman met the love of his life Catherine Amanda Faith. Norman and Catherine love to dance. Spectators would clear the floor to watch as they were dancing. They were married in 1950 and went on to have four children. Norman retired from GM after 35 years to care for his wife until she passed away in 2002.

Norman was predeceased by his wife, Catherine; son, John Johnson; granddaughter, Rebecca Rhyndress; siblings, Alfred Johnson, Betty Kramer, Joyce Grove, Delores Gasman, and Robert Johnson. He is also survived by his children, Danny Johnson, Lynn Johnson and Patricia McLean; grandchildren, Chad Johnson, Grant Johnson, John Johnson Jr, Jeffrey Johnson, Cassandra Johnson, Rachel Jevicks, Amanda Christian, Paul Jevicks, and Michael McLean; sibling, Gerald Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
