Jay, age 47, passed away July 10, 2023.  He was born November 28, 1975 in Flint Michigan to Carl and Judy (Abrams) Ewald.  He graduated from Southwest High School in Ft. Worth, the Art Institute, the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree, and in 2017 with his Master’s Degree.  He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, gardening, traveling and exploring in New Mexico, and being with family. 

He is survived by his parents; sister, Heidi (Scott) Leigh and a special nephew, Conner Leigh, all of South Plainfield New Jersey; his significant other, Brandi Roa of Dallas, Texas; four aunts and an uncle; many cousins, extended family, and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Trail Lake Drive, Ft. Worth TX 76133.  Dr. Don Hogg will officiate. The family will be present to receive friends prior to the service from 10 AM – 11 AM.
