Obituary of William Hersey Kern

William “Bill” Hersey Kern passed away June 21, 2024. He was born in Richville, Michigan on May 28, 1938 to Herbert and Mildred Kern. Bill married Sharron Hollingsworth in Rowland Heights, California on May 4, 1974.  Bill loved spending time with family, golfing, fishing, and doing crossword puzzles. He was also an active member of the North Euclid Church of God.

He is survived by his children, Michael (Colleen) Kern, Michelle (Robert) Sage, Shelia Kern, and Pamela (Angel) Hill-Kern; daughter-in-law, Darlene Kern; stepchildren, William (Marianne) Keilitz, and Matthew (Laura) Bigelow; his brother, Herbert; 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. He was predeceased by his son, Timothy; step-son, Richard Hollingsworth; and sister, Mary.

Bill has been cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:30 AM at the North Euclid Church of God, 3440 N.
