Obituary of Susanne Marie White

Susanne Marie “Jankowiak” White, “Susie”, of Bay City, Michigan, passed away on August 25, 2024, at the Carriage House, Bay City, Michigan after a long battle with kidney failure and cancer. She was born on October 4, 1956 to the late Walter and Thresa (Cabala) Jankowiak.

Susie married Randall Patrick White on February 14, 1989 in Bay City, Michigan.  She worked at the Arlington Hotel for her parents and delivered newspapers with her husband. The thing she enjoyed most was being a mother and wife.

She also enjoyed, bowling, shuffleboard, watching the Detroit Tigers and her soap operas, collecting frog figurines, and taking care of her roses.  She especially enjoyed being with family, and “Midnight” (her dog).

She is survived by her daughter, Courtney and her special friend Mark; her three sisters, Cathy (Delane) Hyde of Wyoming, Julie Rusho, and Connie Morse of Bay City, Michigan; nieces, Carrie (John) Hartley and Mary  Jankowiak and special friend Nick; nephews, Tony (Crystal) Jankowiak and Dylan Jankowiak; grand-nieces, Samantha Hartley, Tadess Mock, and Paige and Kenzie Jankowiak; grand-nephews, Owen Jankowiak, John Hartley, Robert and Jeffery Mock; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Nancy and Ted Young.  She was predeceased by her husband, Randall Patrick White on December 15, 2020; her son, Shawn Patrick White on July 23,2006; her brother, Richard W. Jankowiak; brothers-in-law, William Rusho and Al Morse; and great-grandnieces, the Hartley twins.

A special thank you to all who took care of Susie at the Carriage House. The friends she made while there, Jim Rohleder, Mr. and Mrs. Gromada, Audrey Coats “Speedy”, Goldie and Purple.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Floral Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 2215 Cass Ave. Road,  Bay City, Michigan, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. All who knew Susie are invited to attend.
