Obituary of Jennifer Lynn Stachowiak

Jennifer Lynn Stachowiak was born in Saginaw, Michigan in 1970 to Gloria and Ron Stachowiak.  Jenny was a proud graduate of Handy High School, attended Delta College, and graduated from Kirtland Community College.  She became a licensed Aesthetician and Cosmetologist.  She delighted in helping people feel good about themselves.  At the age of 5 she began dancing at the Perry Woodard School of Dance.  A good beat, lights, costumes, and parades made her happy.  Jenny enjoyed the challenges of pageants and was crowned Miss Bay County Fair Queen.  As she was a “people” person, she loved and treasured the friends that she made along these paths.  Family gatherings and any reason for celebration made her day.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Abigail, who was the light of her life; parents, Gloria and Ron; sister, Janelle; and sister-in-law, Tracie, all of whom will miss her dearly; uncle, Don (Elaine) Stachowiak; brother-in-law, Gary (Janelle) Smolinski; nephews, J. P. Smolinski and Wyatt Stachowiak; nieces, Tiffany Stachowiak, Monica Smolinski, and Carly Jo (Brayden) Stachowiak; great-nieces, Amelia Feinauer and Sophia Redfern; great-nephew, Bryson Redfern; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jon; and grandparents, Ed and Millie Stachowiak and Maxine and Harry Little.

Jennifer’s family would like to thank the kind and caring personnel at Covenant Cooper and Covenant Harrison for the kindness and care provided to Jenny during her stay there.  Their care and professionalism was exemplary and very much appreciated.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11 AM, at Corpus Christi Parish, 1000 S.
