Gerri was a strong willed, interesting woman. I had the privilege of getting to know her, and care to her for the past year. I loved that she was outspoken, and determined, and there was never a dull moment when I was with her! She loved her chocolate, especially those malted milk balls, and could be found often enjoying them in her room. She eventually referred to me as 'Ma', and I loved that, too. She leaves an empty space, and I already miss her very much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to get to know her. May God hold all of you in the palm of His hands during this difficult time, and always,
