Rowley, Samuel N. Bay City, Michigan Sam passed away April 10, 2015 at the age of 100. He was born April 5, 1915 in Bay City Michigan to the late Samuel and Agnes (Maxwell) Rowley. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, the Bay City Consistory, Elks Lodge #88 B.P.O.E., NARF, Past President of the Bay City Bowling Assoc., & a life member of both Joppa Lodge & the NALC. He is survived by his children, Janet (David) Beyer of Leslie MI and Sandra (Dale) Silvernail of Fairgrove MI. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Sara (Matt) Pierce, Jessica (Andy) Keller, Samuel C. Beyer, Jacob (Julia) Beyer, Joshua (Susan) Beyer, Elisabeth (Tommy) Tittle, Ashley (Travis) Harwood, & Eric Beyer; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special niece and nephew, Jerry and Pat Dixon and David and Kelly Peckham. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" in 2006. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1 PM at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to The Colonnades Activity Fund in recognition of the wonderful care they provided our father.
