Hemstreet, Sally A. Bay City, MI Sally passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at the age of 81. She was born in Bay City on February 25, 1934 to the late William and Fern Slater. She married Robert Hemstreet in Bay City on July 16, 1955; was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church; and retired from the Bay City School System after over 20 years of service. Her hobbies were cooking and crafts, and enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for sharing her baked goods with family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Bobbi (Rick) Taylor, Patti Klapish, and Heidi (Bill) Prince all of Bay City; 6 grandchildren, Andrew and Scott Taylor, Chloe and Cade Klapish, Weston and Stephen Prince; her sister, Inez (Kay) Melvin; sisters in law, Sally Slater and Joyce Habbershaw. She was predeceased by her husband Robert June 22, 2015 and her son in law Timothy Klapish . A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 2:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel, 805 Center Ave., Bay City MI. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM. Pastor Jon Essex will officiate. Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
