Obituary of Winifred "Winnie" D. Reiche

Reiche, Winifred D. Bay City, MI Winifred passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2016 with her family at her side. Winnie was born January 5, 1932 in Lenox Township Michigan to the late Harold and Delia Harm. She attended school in New Haven and married Alfred Reiche in June 1968. Winnie was a talented homemaker, enjoyed traveling with Al and sister-in-law Vera LaMarsh, and watching the birds through her living room window. Winnie is survived by her husband Alfred; daughters, Karen Friend and Judith (Howie) Knauf; sons, Carl (Barbara) Reiche and Dennis (Deborah) Reiche; sister, Bonny (Jim) Cudnik; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughters Sherry Lynn (1970) and Cindy Ann (2007) and her brothers Robert and Donald Harm. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 206 Scheurmann St., Essexville Michigan. Rev. Eric Stone will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to St. Luke's United Methodist Church Garden or General Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
