Turmel, Frank W. Bay City, Michigan formerly of Linwood Mr. Turmel, age 79, died Tuesday March 15, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital. Frank was born in Saginaw on April 15, 1936. Frank married the former Vadabell A. Morley on July 3, 1954 in Bay City. Frank retired from Prestolite after retirement he drove gas trucks for Greene's Gas of Kawkawlin. Mr. Turmel is survived by his 2 daughters; Jean Kielpinski and her fiancé Mark Courier of Standish, and Linda (Andy) Gehringer of Linwood. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Melissa (Chad) Dubey of Sterling, Jay Kielpinski of Bay City and Trisha Gehringer of Linwood, great grandchildren; Brantt, Steven, Ethan and Levi, brothers and sisters; Gary Turmell of Auburn, Kathy (Bill) Maul of Bay City, Jake (Karen) Turmell of Midland, Margaret Gehringer of Auburn and Steve (Christy) Sampier of Midland. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Vadabell and special friend Marlene Kiggins. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday March 19, 2016 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Bay City. Pastor Thomas McCoy will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
