Obituary of Stella Angeloff

Angeloff, Stella Essexville, MI Stella passed away October 12, 2016 at the age of 104. She was born September 5, 1912 in Bulgaria to the late Richard and Demetra (Petoff) Christoff. She married George Angeloff in 1937. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, worked at Hudson's Department Store on Woodward Ave. in Detroit, was employed by Delta College in the Learning Resource Department, and was beloved "Gram" to her grandchildren and "Gigi" to her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her 5 grandchildren, Philip Spiess (Jan Grimes) of Alto MI, Roberta (John) Kotkosky of Waxhaw NC, Jennifer Spiess Dombrowski of Grand Rapids MI, Stephanie (Guy) Moulthrop of Bay City MI, & Theodore (Dyana) Spiess of Belleair FL; great-granddaughters, Nicole Demetra Thomas of Apex NC, Olivia Theodora Moulthrop, Elizabeth Catherine Moulthrop, Isabella Christoff Moulthrop, all of Bay City MI, Erika Lynn Dombrowski of Grand Rapids MI; and a brother Chris (Sue) Christoff of California. She was predeceased by her husband George Angeloff in 1973, her daughter Nina Spiess in 2014, and her sister Pauline Spiroff. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, MI. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 Noon. A private interment will be made in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
