Williams, Arthur L. "Art" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Williams, age 63, died on Friday October 14, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital. Arthur Lee Williams was born on December 30, 1952 to the late George W. and Bessie L. (Fallen) Williams. Art served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the State of Michigan in 2010 after 30 years of service. Mr. Williams is survived by his life partner Barbara Gunther of Bay City, best friend Roger Bauer of Rhodes. Also surviving are his 4 brothers and 3 sisters; Columbus (Jewel) Williams of Shreveport, Louisiana, Reverend John Williams of Bay City, Purnell Williams of Saginaw, George Williams of Bay City, June Annell Marshall of Saginaw, Ernestine Williams of Bay City and Betty Beasley of Saginaw and many nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Stella Johnson and Lorraine Morris and step-mother Ethel Williams. A Life celebration service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, Bay City. Reverend Roger Bauer and Reverend John Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of service.
