Art passed away April 9, 2017 at Heartland Assisted Living. The son of the late Joseph and Edith (Wright) DeWaele was born May 1, 1942 in Bay City, MI. He was preceded by a sister, Diane McKay Glaizer. Art is survived by a brother Joseph Jr. (Sandra) DeWaele, nephews John (Carol) McKay-his caregiver, Joseph DeWaele III, Craig DeWaele, nieces Colleen (Ray) O'Dell, Michelle (Ron) Mayhew, dear friends Carole Hoyle and Daniel Frieders and many grand nephews and nieces.
