Hogan, Robert A. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Hogan, age 92, died on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at New Hope Bay. Bob was born in Bay City on December 4, 1925 to the late Robert and Lois (Leavins) Hogan. Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corps during WWII. Bob retired from Michigan Bell Telephone after over 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church, Essexville. Mr. Hogan is survived by his daughter Jean (Ralph) Sparks of Saint John, Indiana. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Chad Wiedyk of Indianapolis, IN, Zachary (Amy) Wiedyk of Fort Worth, TX, Casey Hogan of Bay City, and Amy Hogan of Florida, great grandchildren; Eliana, Nevaeh, Jakiah Wiedyk and Journey Hogan, sisters in law; Florence Koehler of Bay City, Jean Behrmann of Bay City and Ruthann Rafferty of MA, brother in law Frank (Jan) Weigle of Bridgeport and special friend Randy (Suki) Henika. He was preceded in death by his wives; Mary Lou in 1977 and Wilma in 2009, sons; Glenn in 1997 and Robert in 1997 and his brother Jerry Hogan. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday February 10, 2018 at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 206 Scheurmann Street, Essexville. Reverend Eric A. Stone, Pastor will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. The family would like to give a special Thank-You to the staff of McLaren Hospice and New Hope Bay for their loving care given to Bob.
