Obituary of Robert T. Abbe

Abbe, Robert T. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Abbe, age 72, died on Monday, March 12, 2018. Robert was born in Bay City on July 27, 1945 to the late Joseph Charles and Dorothy Mary (Kosier) Abbe. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during Vietnam, and was a member of the Eagles. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, outdoors and family. Mr. Abbe is survived by his children, Scott Joseph Abbe, Richard Gerald Charbonneau Jr., Gregory Allen (Jessica) Charbonneau, and Christopher Robert (Jill) Charbonneau. Also surviving are grandchildren, Tanya (Mathew) Wright, Nicole (Shawn) Richardson, Richard (Shenna) Charbonneau, Christopher Charbonneau Jr., Haley Charbonneau, Alena Charbonneau, and Nicholas Charbonneau; great grandchildren; Jerad Wright, Jena Wright, Lucas Charbonneau, Brycen Charbonneau, Gannon Charbonneau, and Gracelynn Charbonneau; a sister and a brother, Rose Abbe and Daniel Abbe; long time friends, JoAnn Walsh and Claire Jacobson; sisters in law Mary Jo Abbe and Sue Abbe; a niece, Amanda Abbe, nephew, William Abbe, and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Abbe, brother William Abbe and daughter in law Pamela Charbonneau. A memorial service will be announced later.
