Obituary of Tristian B. Kitt
Please share a memory of Tristian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tristian Brykayi (Valetine) Kitt was born to his parents Delores Kitt-Curtis and Christopher Curtis Sr. on December 28, 1997 at Darnall Army Hospital Fort Hood TX. He passed away on July 8, 2018 at his home held in his parents arms when an angel came to take him home.
He was preceded in death by his womb twin (Amaya). Tristian received Christ at an early age through Adams Chapel AME Church in Harker Heights under the leadership of Rev. William Forbes. He attended Harker Heights TX school district and graduated from Dowingtown East High School, Lionville PA in June of 2016 as an honor student. His wish was to attend Berklee College of Music, Boston MA. Tristian was the family rock, to know him was to love him, his smile gave a new meaning to the word love. He was the light of our family, Tristian's exceptional heart and mind would light a smile and strike intellectual conversation that would leave you in awe of who he was. He endured things most of us could and would never imagine. He would say I'm okay mom, smile and get his procedures done. Tristian was truly an angel sent to help every person he came in contact with. Our handsome and precious son, we only asked God to watch and love you for a little while and now he needs you to keep watch and love from a distance.
His glow shall be missed by his parents Delores Kitt-Curtis and Christopher Curtis; brothers, Richard Ramsey Jr. of San Antonio, TX and Christopher Curtis Jr. of Kawkawlin MI; sister, Anyssa Curtis of Kawkawlin MI; his maternal grandparents, Clarence Gulley of Rosston AR and Jo Ann Wooden Harker of Heights TX; grandfathers, Fred Nitschky of Bay City MI, Howard Florence of Harker Heights TX, Woody (Sharon) Curtis of Pinconning MI; aunts, Marian (Edward) Herberts of Tollette AR, Keva Dudley of Killeen TX, Shannon Mechling and Roxanne Marion of Bay City MI, Sarah Blackwell of Davenport IA; uncles, Clarence Gulley Jr. of Stamps AR, Jason Curtis and Todd Curtis of Bay City MI, Devon Maxwell of Detroit MI, Anthony Loving of Killeen TX, Keith Dudley of Hope AR; great aunts, Merline Love and Lena Sims of Rockford IL; Godparents, John & Beth Lehr-Lambert of Downingtown PA; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, friends; mentors, Keith Brown and Isabel Cantu; uncles, Charles (Poncho) Jordan, Rev.
