Dear Sandy, I am so sorry to hear that Joe died. The road ahead will not be easy. I can't tell you what to expect because everyone reacts differently to the loss of a spouse. It has been six months since I lost Jack and each day brings different emotions and memories. Always remember God is with you through all of it. I will keep you in my prayers. Love and hugs, Marie

This wonderful man very openly accepted me into the DeWaele family without hesitation, over 8 1/2 years ago. What I will miss most is him playing the harmonica on our birthday, which we both shared on September 8th. It was a joy to hear because the only other person I know who played the harmonica was my Great Grandpa Ken, who passed away 5 years ago. Heaven gained a beautiful man. Rest in peace Grandpa Joe.
