Dear Sandy, I am so sorry to hear that Joe died. The road ahead will not be easy. I can't tell you what to expect because everyone reacts differently to the loss of a spouse. It has been six months since I lost Jack and each day brings different emotions and memories. Always remember God is with you through all of it. I will keep you in my prayers.
Love and hugs, Marie

Hard to imagine not having Joey in our life. My favorite cousin and close buddy growing up together. Such cherished memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family, Sandy. Requiescat in pace, dear friend.

This wonderful man very openly accepted me into the DeWaele family without hesitation, over 8 1/2 years ago.
What I will miss most is him playing the harmonica on our birthday, which we both shared on September 8th. It was a joy to hear because the only other person I know who played the harmonica was my Great Grandpa Ken, who passed away 5 years ago.
Heaven gained a beautiful man. Rest in peace Grandpa Joe.
