Mrs. Penzien passed away unexpectedly at her home, Thursday evening, March 7, 2019 at the age of 75. She was born October 20, 1943 in Bay City and was a life-long resident. Mary Ellen had many talents, that included painting, sewing, cooking, and playing the organ. She enjoyed spending time with a dear friend, praising her Lord, and hearing stories about her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacie (Jeremy) Hamstra; grandchildren, Mackenzie Anderson and Nicholas (McKenzie) Anderson; sister, Barb (Jack) Morgan; and step children, Donald Penzien, and Susan (Phillip) Kary. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Helen (Warren) Goss; brother, Donald Goss Sr.; and husband, C. Baird Penzien.
