July 26, 1991-April 25, 2019 Rochell Jayde Johnson, the precious child born to Barbara Johnson and George Jones on July 26, 1991 in Bay City, Michigan, departed her earthly life on April 25, 2019 for her heavenly home. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Second Baptist Church in Bay City, Michigan. She later became a member of Word of Faith International Ministries in Saginaw, Michigan. She was at the time of her death, a member of First Church (formerly Mt. Hermon Baptist Church), where she served as praise leader. She attended both Bay and Saginaw County Public Schools. Rochell enjoyed spending time with her daughter Justice, working with hair and make-up, drawing, listening to music, hanging-out with friends, and singing in church. Rochell will truly be missed by her daughter, Justice J. Brown; mother, Barbara (Robert) Johnson-Cubby; four aunts, Ida Mae (Kenny) Shearrill of Pinconning, MI, Jacqueline (Robert) Bias, Brenda (Lonnie) Clay of Canton, Mississippi, and Annie Johnson of Chicago, Illinois; three uncles, Willie (Betty) Johnson of Chicago, Illinois, Sims (Sandra) Johnson, Ray C. Johnson of Camden, Mississippi. She leaves a host of special cousins, including Rosa Holliday of Bay City, Michigan, friends who were so dear to her; godmother, Jacqueline Biggs of Bay City; special sister, Precious Anderson of Saginaw, MI. She was preceded in death by her father George Jones; grandparents, Sims and Ida Mae Johnson; two uncles, Earl and Larry Johnson; and other relatives. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019 at First Church (formerly Mt. Hermon) 244 N. Monroe, Bay City, Michigan with Pastor John Davis officiating.
