Heidrich, Donald G. Bay City, MI Donald passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Paul and Inez (Gordon) Heidrich. He married the former Renate "Renee" Krein in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on May 9, 1964, and she survives him. Don had a wonderful life, lived with zest in the things he enjoyed, actively participating in tennis, cycling, golf, hiking, and cross country skiing. He also enjoyed yoga as well as travelling with his wife. He retired from General Motors after 31 years of service as an environmental engineer. Don is survived by his wife, Renee; two children, Simone Heidrich of Grand Rapids, MI, and Neil (Jenni) Heidrich of Ann Arbor, MI; sister, Sandra Gates of Jackson, MI; brother, Robert (Nancy) Heidrich of Negaunee, MI; nieces, nephews, and many friends. A private family service is being planned for a later date.
