Calvin, age 72, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019. He was born May 11, 1947 in Pigeon Michigan to the late Clarence and Madge (Cantor) Gardner. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Calvin was very involved in Cans for Kids to help buy bikes for kids. Mr. Gardner is survived by his 4 sisters and 2 brothers; Donna Sawyer of Bay City, Joyce (Tom) Bills of Bay City, Barney Ludwig of Bay City, Loretta Hinkley of Bay City, Barbara Snow of Chesterfield Township, Michigan and Arthur Ludwig of Bay City. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane, his mother Madge Marek, and his father Clarence Gardner.
A Memorial Service is planned for 1:00 P.M., Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City Michigan.
