I was a teacher in Pinconning. I know of all the family and friends, living and gone,he kne. Alll the celebrations! Such a fantastic person to have lost. Knowing the battle you all went through is still clear in my mind because my brother fought that same battle for 4 years and he was a terrific guy as well. He lost his battle in 2010 at the age of 52. So happy you have had him for so long. Good wishes and love to all of you. May you get to the long great live he had, that's what he would want for all of you. Celebrating and living just the same way!
Maybe someday, there will be no sickness or unhappiness in our world. A donation to cancer will be made in his name, just a small thing to do for all of you because you asked.

So sorry to hear of Gerald's passing. He was a funny guy the day he walked up and said he wanted to buy our house and did.

It was always comforting seeing Jerry at the giant pumpkin events each year, this is particularly true after the illness began. It really put thinks into perspective for all of us. Jerry introduced several people in the Pinconning area to a crazy hobby they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. Andy T's weigh-off will not be the same this year without Jerry but his memory will live on through those he inspired. Joe Platte (Michigan Giant Pumpkin Growers)
