Obituary of Richard G. Charbonneau

Charbonneau, Richard G. Sr. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Charbonneau, age 78, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019, at McLaren Bay Region. He was born in Bay City Michigan, November 6, 1940 to the late Edward and Corrine (Hebert) Charbonneau. He was the owner and operator of Magic Carpet from 1967 to the present, as well as several other successful businesses. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork, boating, wood carving, being near the water, had a passion for hard work, but above all, loved spending time with family. He is survived by his significant other, Joyce Pappas, lifelong friend and mother of his children, Marilyn K. Charbonneau; four children, Richard G. Charbonneau Jr., Gregory A. (Jessica) Charbonneau, Christopher R. (Jill) Charbonneau, Todd L. (Sabrina) Charbonneau; ten grandchildren, Tanya (Matt) Wright, Nicole (Shawn) Richardson, Richard III (Sheena) Charbonneau, Christopher Charbonneau Jr., Haley Charbonneau, Haley Katt, Alena (Austin Sabourin) Charbonneau, Bailee (Tristan) Teeples, Teddy Katt, Brady Charbonneau, Nicholas Charbonneau; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Barb (Bob) Priest; sister-in-law, Irene Charbonneau, special niece Delynn (Mike) LaClaire , Thank-You for all your help and support, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Albert Charbonneau, Robert Charbonneau, Edward Charbonneau; daughter-in-law, Pam Charbonneau; and granddaughter, Paige Charbonneau. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11 A.M., at Bay Valley Christian Church.
