Constance M. Grimmer, age 69, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020. She was born April 28, 1951 in Hammond Indiana to Henry and Regina (LaPlaunt) Grimmer. She obtained a Juris Prudence Degree and was an attorney for many years. She was dedicated to the welfare of animals, and with her grant writing expertise, was the driving force for the creation of Shelter Angels becoming a non-profit organization. She is survived by Donald Grimmer of Bay City, Denise Grimmer of Bay City, Tim Grimmer of Mt. Pleasant, Joseph Grimmer of Bay City, Elizabeth (Darryl) Rochon of Arizona, Colette (Jeff) Eigner of Essexville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael Grimmer and Stephen Grimmer. A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date. Service information will be published as it becomes available. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Memorial Contributions to Shelter Angels of Bay City. Masking and social distancing requirements will be required.
