Bay City, Mi Our beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Brian’s House, surrounded by her family. Audrey was born November 14, 1936 to the late Frank and Emma Hatcher, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles E. Rogers. They spent 51 wonderful married years together. She retired from Bangor Township Schools where she drove school bus for 30 years. She loved to play bingo, cards and shuffleboard, but her greatest gift was teaching us love and kindness. It is the most important impact we leave on one another throughout our lives. This was her greatest impact that she made in this world. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and sharing the love and kindness she possessed. Audrey is survived by her children, Charles II (Mary) Rogers, Rodney (Karla) Rogers, Randy (Judy) Rogers, Charlene (Scott) Mueller, Cheryl (Amy) Rogers; her grandchildren, Melissa (Bobby), Charles III (Lacey), Emma (Tyler) Shanaya (Pablo) Shannon (Thad), Adam and Alexis. She has 10 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-grandson; and another great-great-granddaughter arriving soon; her sister, Leona Deering; sister-in-law, Bunny Hatcher; brothers-in-law, Stan (Elaine) Rogers and John Rogers; many nieces and nephews; and so many great friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Audrey was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Paul and Lucille Beyer; her brother, Jim Hatcher; her brother-in-law, Donald Deering; sister-in-law, Sue Rogers; and mother-in-law, Juanita (Mel) Cousino. In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She will then be laid to eternal rest with the love of her life at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Brian’s House, American Heart Association, or The Wings of Mercy. The family would like to thank the nurses at McLaren Bay Region 4 East, and the wonderful staff at Brian’s House, who compassionately cared for her during these difficult times.
