Obituary of Teresa Wood

Wood, Teresa Lynn Williamston, Michigan Teresa, age 66, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Teresa was born in Detroit on May 3, 1955 to August and Oawana Timmreck. Teresa's steadfast faith in Jesus guided her through life. Her big heart was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. She served at Memorial Lutheran Church, on the City of Williamston Chamber of Commerce, and held various board positions at Crystal Bay Travel Park in Palm Harbor, Florida. Teresa was a business person and successfully ran several family businesses. Through these, she touched the lives of many. Teresa is survived by her loving husband Dave; her sons, Robert (Amanda) and Ethan (Anna); and her granddaughters, Leah and Ellie. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, William (Ann) Wood; sister-in-law, Marlene (Wilson) Haller; brother-in-law, Daniel (Debbie) Wood; cousins, James (Mary Katherine) Lewis, Michael (Barbara) Bloom, Carol (Steve) Westjohn; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at Memorial Lutheran Church at 11 AM, Saturday, May 22, 2021. The family will receive friends at Memorial Lutheran Church on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6-8 PM and on Saturday, May 22, 2021 prior to the service from 10 AM - 11 AM.
