Dietz, Donna Jean Bay City, MI Donna Jean Dietz passed away peacefully in the presence of her loved ones by her side on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was 84. She was born in Bay City on September 5, 1937 to the late Bert and Caroline (Lahosit) Mularz. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert, Theodore, Richard and Donald Mularz; her sisters, Joan Cnudde and Virginia (Howard) Cummings; and her brother-in-law, Donald Tripp. She is survived by her 4 loving children, Kim J. (Marcia) Novak, Lee A. Novak, Jon R. (Mary) Dietz and Trisha M. (Aaron) Case; 6 wonderful grandchildren, Daniel Novak, Kyle, Kerri and Kelly Novak, Jonathon and Haley Dietz; and 3 amazing great-grandchildren, Declan Novak, Emily Eickholt and Waylon Novak; her loving sisters, Barbara Peasley, Carolyn Tripp, Paulette (Ron) LaForest and Suzanne (Larry) Coolman; sisters-in-law, Deanne Mularz and Peg Mularz; a very special niece, Bonnie Huizer; and lifelong friend, Wanda Richardson, both of whom were more like a sister; and many nieces and nephews who adored her. Donna was one of a kind, a true family woman who was extremely funny, talented and smart. She played the accordion and loved many different genres of music. She enjoyed singing, laughing and playing cards with her family and friends. Donna had an amazing relationship with her siblings and family which were full of adventures, laughter and love. She loved the outdoors, laying in the sun, gardening, and planting flowers. She loved watching reality TV with her grandkids and especially enjoyed watching sports. Donna had a heart of gold and always made you smile and laugh. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Calvary Cemetery, 2977 Old Kawkawlin Rd., Kawkawlin MI 48631, with Sr. Christine A. Gretka officiating.
