As a neighbor and young teen delivering the Bay City Times to the Deuscher family home on Fisher St, it was always a pleasure to see Ron and Don at their home, in the 1950's. Also on Halloween they had the best candy. Their family was just wonderful folks. Always, in the palms and hands of God.

Uncle Ron and Aunt Jo were my second parents and I miss them every day. Uncle Ron was silly and sweet and the most gentle and loving man I have ever known. I am comforted by the thought of the celebration in heaven as auntie, mom, dad, gramma and grampa and all the rest of the family up there welcome him with joy. Uncle Ron is in his happy place now, I trust this. Loving prayers to my cousins as they say goodbye to their sweet daddy.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Ronald?
A: Ron was a joy as our neighbor on Williams St for many years. We moved away but always came back for funerals and saw Ron who was helped with our grief by being so warm, understanding and compassionate. He was a wonderful human being. God bless
