Obituary of Randolph John Kern
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randolph John Kern, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, on July 30, 2024. He was born on April 26, 1956, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Anton and Dolores (Mindykowski) Kern. Randy lived a life full of joy, laughter, and love.
Randy had a passion for the great outdoors and enjoyed spending his time golfing, fishing, and hunting. He was also an avid fast-pitched softball player, sharing his love for the game with friends and family. His enthusiasm for these activities was only surpassed by his boundless love for his family.
He was a devoted father to Jeremy (Sara) Kern, Joshua Kern, Kayla (Garrett) Brown, and Brandon Kern; and a beloved grandfather to Allison, Landon, and Nora. He was preceded in death by his brothers Darrell and Wayne D. Kern. Known for his goofy and silly nature, Randy had an incredible ability to bring smiles and laughter to those around him. His loving and warm personality created countless cherished memories for his family and friends.
Randy will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, and passion for life will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
The family will be honoring his life privately with an interment service. On Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. there will be a Celebration of Life to honor Randy at Apple Mountain, 4519 N.
