What a wonderful tribute to a lovely lady and sister-in-law. We shared a lot of good times together in family, IOJD and OES. Love to all the kids.

My fond memories of Joan are from the years of my participation in Jobs Daughters with her daughter, my friend & classmate Nancy, in Durand.. What a dedicated leader of that group Joan was. She also was the leading force of the roast beef dinners on Sundays at the Masonic Temple in my home town of Bancroft. They were wonderful and a great time for me to see old friends with my mother. Joan always greeted me warmly on those occasions. I have missed those opportunities to reconnect since the dinners ended and my mom is no longer with us. As with others, this has brought many tears to my eyes & tugs at my heart strings. You all have my deepest sympathy.

I'm sending a message of sympathy and prayers for your family. Joan was a dear friend of my mother's (Pauline Tribley Rathbun) also from the 1949 class of Byron. I remember going with my mom as a little girl to go visit Joan. And later as an adult our paths crossed with the outreach from Durand First Untied Methodist Church to Respite Volunteers of Shiawassee. With Sincere Sympathy, Helen Howard

Although I haven't seen her in 20 years, "Mom" Streeter will be missed and fondly remembered. She was a kind, loving woman who spent much of her life helping young girls learn how to become good, caring, Christian young woman. I had the honor of spending many years with her as member of IOJD bethel #22 in Durand. She will be missed.

So sad to see you leave. I admired you so much and you helped me through my years in Jobs Daughters and at church. You always had a smile on your face and your angel pin always reminded me of how sweet you were. Rest in peace Mom Streeter, Love you!

It took me years to admit to you that I was the one who put the goldfish into your water glass at Grand Session. I just never knew until many many years later, that you had drank that poor fish. What a memory that left for both of us. You will be forever loved and remembered by me and our entire family. RIP..our beloved freind.

My deepest sympathies. Your Mother was always so well dressed and seemed to be everywhere at once. Even though all my memories of her are from childhood, they are all good ones. In my eyes, she was a very accomplished woman. If she ever had any doubt of this, all she had to do was look at her children, and know she had done well.

She had a pin that was a Star with the emblems of Eastern Stars hanging on it. That was a present from Bethel #22 when they were first available to buy. The Bethel Daughters wanted to honor her and decided this was the best way. Every time I would see her she was wearing it as she said she was so proud to have gotten it from "HER GIRLS". I will remember her and the family in my prayers each night and know there is another "Shining Star" in Heaven watching over us.

My dear Aunt Joan was such a great role model for me and especially in Job's Daughter's Bethel #22. She always had a kind word and a gentle smile and I will surely miss her for the rest of my days.
