Hello, My name is Gina Lynn. I was Jim and Pat's neighbor since 1995. I just found out about Jim's passing. This is very upsetting news to me. I will miss him dearly. They were also very good friends with my Mom Dora and Step dad C.J. Jim would help me out at times with the pump house or issues with a lawn mower. I helped Jim get Diabetic Shoes when I worked for Carelinc. He always had a smile. I remember one afternoon Jim, Pat and Mom and C.J. and I were sitting at Mom's and C.J.s place next door to me and Pat was telling us how she just bought a bread maker and that she was make a loaf of bread while we were all visiting and that she had to run home to check on it. I love Pat, she had a laugh and smile and I enjoy talking with her. Well, Pat went home to check on the bread and while she was gone Jim smiled and had that you know grin...and said I don't think that Pat put enough yeast in the bread machine so I added some. We all looked at him and laugh, then heard Pat coming down the road yelling JIMMMMMMMMM what did you do! He looked at us and said oh no, I think I am in trouble. Pat said there was bread everywhere, all over. She was angry and he told Pat, well I didn't think you put enough yeast in it. Pat replied you don't touch my bread! We all had a good laugh after that. Pat is such a sweetheart. Her and Mom would talk for hours and laugh and Jim and C.J. would play with their tractors and equipment. Jim always liked to show me his projects he was working on. I think from all the tornado damage they stayed home this winter from Florida. I regret not visiting or calling more often. He will be truly missed. He loved his pond and fish. Pat if you are reading this can you or a family member please stop by my home on the corner of Franklin Trail (Blue house), I am so worried about you Pat and I am shocked to hear that Jim had passed. I called the funeral home but they said it doesn't look like there are open services. I would like to show my respect please and see you Pat. You are a dear lady and I am sorry for your loss. I put a note in your note box at your home with my phone number. Please call me and let me know how you are doing. I would love to talk with you. The neighborhood sends their condolences. Thank you. God Bless You Pat and To the family. My prayers, love and hugs are with you.
Love to you, Gina Lynn
