Mr. Kocsis, age 80 died on Friday March 15, 2019. James was born in Flint, Michigan on March 17, 1938 to the late James Joseph and Rose Mary (Chopp) Kocsis. He lived in the Bay City and Sterling area most of his life. James retired from GM Steering Gear-Saginaw in 1992. Mr. Kocsis is survived by his wife Patricia, his 4 children; Rudy Kocsis of Saginaw, Ginnie Lewis of Bay City, Connie (David) Kessler of Midland and Ricky Kocsis of Cave Creek, AZ. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Joyce Hale of Bay City, Betty (Jim) Prohaska of Oscoda, brother William Kocsis of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Betty Joletta Kocsis, 2 sisters and a brother; Rosemary Kocsis, Phyllis Tolar and John Kocsis. A private family service will be held.
