I remember Carol as a local neighbor growing up in Saginaw. She was kind. She assisted me more than once when I needed a big favor. I have thought of her often over the years. My prayers are with her loved ones. I'm sorry for your loss.

Carol and I and several other women worked at the Hotel, Snack Bar, Nursery, Cafeteria, and anywhere else that needed us during Campmeeting at Eaton Rapids. We worked hard, never sure whether it was enough, so that our kids could be included in the Youth Program there. We also lived at the Hotel, and talked, and talked, and talked. She was a wonderful friend and a strong Christian influence on me. Miss you, Carol! Love you. Sue Haines (Rye)

My prayers are with you Josh, Justin, Jessica, Nick, Bertram, Kaylee, Conner and Brentley...... your mom ( Grandma) loved you all so very much, matter of fact she just told me when I was over there on the 5th that she raised her kids well, for all of you guys have been taking good care of her she told me... and she always talked of course about her grandkids , they were very special to her. She will be missed dearly... I didn't really know Carol to well until the passing of Gena and I believe at that time God then gave us the bond of friendship because it was after that , that we became good friends and was able to share our memories we had of her sister and my best friend. Carol always welcome me in her house , she use to tell me it don't matter how late it is or whatnot you are always welcome here... I truly appreciated that for there was plenty of times taking trips out that way to the casino that I really just didn't like the thought of driving home in the dark ( exspecially since it's so hard for me to see at night) and I was afraid of those deer out that way , that I took that opportunity to come and stay, and almost every single time I did , we would barely get any sleep for we would just sit there and talk all night.. And even though we didn't see or talk to each other everyday I will definitely miss our catch up talks and our friendship. Until we meet again my friend , I love you and will miss you. Jodi

I remember mrs. Vikki tobak when she was mrs. Kelly she was bring the first people to believe in me as a child. I was in her class for several years but she had looked out for me long before that she used to check up on me during lunch time just to see how my day was going but always remember her taking me with her family to see a spirit hockey game I've never been to one before or since but she will forever be remembered

One of my favorite memories was when Carol, Gena and I went to a Detroit tigers game. We had a great time. And then the time we watched one of Keelys games, went back with Carol afterward and made pie iron pizza, sauerkraut, and many other kinds. The simple things were the most fun and memorable. RIH Carol.
